Ingredients :
2 pre-made (bought) puff pastries
1 egg yolf (will be use to give a nice colour to the pie top)
Ingredients (for the filling):
80 g sugar
80 g almond powder
80 g butter
2 teaspoons Cherry brandy (called Kirsh in France), or Rum
1 egg
Cooking2000's Note:
The French traditionally celebrate Epiphany with a round, almond-flavoured pastry (called "Galette des rois") containing a small porcelain figurine (called "fève").
The pastry is shared out and the person who finds the "fève" is appointed "King" or "Queen".
