Ingredients :
800 g squid (cleaned and ink sacks removed, thanks to your fishmonger, cut in large pieces)
4 large onions
2 heads garlic
120 g butter
1 litre red whine
salt and black pepper
Comments:
Ask to your fishmonger to clean and to remove ink sacks from the squid.
Serve with boiled potatoes.

Squid stewed in wine
Preparation:
Stew the squid, onions and garlic in butter until all the squid's juices have evaporated.
Cover with red whine.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer for 2 hours or until tender.
