Ingredients :

• 800 g squid (cleaned and ink sacks removed, thanks to your fishmonger, cut in large pieces)
• 4 large onions
• 2 heads garlic
• 120 g butter
• 1 litre red whine
• salt and black pepper
Comments:
• Ask to your fishmonger to clean and to remove ink sacks from the squid.
• Serve with boiled potatoes.

Preparation:


• Stew the squid, onions and garlic in butter until all the squid's juices have evaporated.
• Cover with red whine.
• Add salt and pepper to taste.
• Simmer for 2 hours or until tender.
